Proper preparation is critical. We prepare the work area and the flooring before sanding begins, taking the necessary steps to protect your home and create the best possible surface for the new finish.
The old finish is carefully removed and the wood is progressively sanded to prepare the floor for its new appearance. We use professional-grade sanding equipment and modern abrasive technology designed specifically for hardwood flooring. Bona’s professional sanding systems are designed for everything from coarse sanding and finish removal to fine sanding and dust-controlled applications.

Once the floor has been properly prepared, we apply the selected Bona finishing system. Our standard refinishing package includes three coats of water-based finish. Depending on your needs and desired appearance, additional finish and specialty sealer options are available.

Our standard pricing starts at $4.50 per square foot for natural refinishing and $5.50 per square foot for stained refinishing. Both include three coats of water-based finish.
